ContactSafe App
Private contacts vault
Free
ContactSafe is a private address book of its own. It sits beside your phone's contacts rather than inside them, and everything you add stays on your device.
WHAT YOU CAN ATTACH TO A CONTACT
• Notes — write them, print them, or share them straight from the app
• Files — photos, videos, audio, PDFs, scanned documents, anything
• Folders — arrange a person's files, and give a folder its own cover image
• Websites — save a link and reopen it any time
• Locations — several named addresses per person (Home, Office, Summer house), each shown on a map
• Projects — visits, calls and deadlines, with the people involved and the place pinned
PROJECTS
Give a project a start and an end, add the people involved, pin the addresses you collected from Maps, and keep its own notes and files with it. A reminder arrives an hour before it begins. Finished projects are archived rather than deleted.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• No account, no cloud, no sync — there is nothing to sign up for
• Nothing you add here appears in your phone's contacts app, and nothing is synced anywhere
• No analytics and no third-party trackers
• Works fully offline. Only the map previews and address lookup use the network
LOCKED
• Passcode and Face ID / Touch ID, with auto-lock after a delay you choose
FIND ANYTHING
• One search across contacts, files, notes and projects at once
• Phone numbers are matched by their digits, so it finds the number however you type it
• Projects can be found by their address or description, not only by name
BRINGING YOUR DATA IN
• Read people in from your phone's address book — nothing is written back
• Move everything across from the previous ContactSafe app, on the device, files included
YOURS TO KEEP
• Back up everything — contacts, files, notes and projects — as a single file you keep yourself
• Restore it on any iPhone
• Export any contact as a vCard
