Cadence: Music Teacher
Studio Tuition & Attendance
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
End-of-term reckoning? Tap a lesson attended and watch every unpaid tuition roll into one running total — cash, Venmo or Zelle, all offline. No payment-processor setup.
A parent asks how many lessons you gave this term, and two families never paid — and your spreadsheet can’t tell you. Cadence ends that scramble.
The phone-native ledger for the independent private music teacher running a home or rented-room studio. Mark this week’s lessons attended — or as a no-show or makeup — with one tap, and watch each student’s unpaid lesson fees roll up into a running studio-wide total — the exact thing a spreadsheet can’t do.
• Tap-to-mark attendance from a Today view condensed to just this teaching day — no clunky web forms, no glitchy mobile pages.
• An Unpaid Tuition Board that totals every delivered-but-unpaid lesson, per student and across the whole studio, so nobody slips through.
• Mark cash, Venmo, or Zelle as paid the moment you collect it — record money you already have, with zero PayPal or Stripe setup nightmare.
• Per-student lesson fee, monthly/semester tuition, or a sliding-scale rate, plus instrument, method book (Faber, Alfred, Suzuki, RCM grade), and repertoire — records built for music, not a generic class list.
• A real 24-hour cancellation policy: a no-show still owes the lesson fee, and a make-up the next week clears that credit instead of billing a new charge — so a lessons-delivered count proves to any parent the promised lessons were taught.
• Smart Insights surface your monthly studio income and who still owes — on-device, the moment you open the app.
• Works offline. No account, no login, no cloud — your studio’s records stay on your phone.
Already keep a spreadsheet? It makes your head spin, can’t tap-to-mark a lesson, and won’t surface the outstanding-balance total the instant a lesson is done. Cadence does all three — and if you’d rather never see a subscription, a one-time Forever Access unlocks everything for good.
Start with a 7-day free trial, then $14.99/month or $79.99/year — or own it forever for $249.99. Cancel anytime.
