Vellum is now completely free — the full canvas, Polish, Connections, and exports. No locks, no subscription. If Vellum has earned a place in your day, there's a new Support Vellum option in Settings. Writing now sips battery instead of draining it. We fixed a heavy background cost that kept the processor busy after every stroke — long sessions stay cool, and long notes no longer make it worse. Also new: • Your library holds its place. Opening a note to re-read it no longer counts as an edit, so it stays where you left it instead of jumping to the front. Only writing moves a note. • Night view — flip any note to dark paper. Your ink re-renders to match, and flips back exactly as you wrote it. • Post to Buzz — send a note's text or handwriting straight to a Buzz channel, signed on your iPad and delivered directly. No server in the middle. • Clearer messages when a connection fails, and smaller fixes throughout.
