IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, Français, Español, Português and Deutsch. No subscription. Buy once, own it. HOW TO TEST 1. Launch DeHowl and allow microphone access when prompted. 2. Click "Audio Devices" (top control row) and choose an input and output. The built-in mic and speakers are fine for testing. 3. From the "Venue" menu, choose "Conference Room" this sets the controls for a typical room in one tap. 4. Click "AFC Predict" to turn it on (it highlights green). Speak into the mic for ~15–30 seconds. The status line next to it will change from "AFC: learning the room..." to "AFC: cancelling X dB" — that confirms the feedback cancellation is running in real time. 5. Optional: turn on "Vocal Clarity" and "Limiter", and watch the "ACTIVE NOTCHES" panel at the bottom populate if any feedback tones occur. NOTES - Best experienced with an external USB audio interface and a real PA, but the Mac's built-in mic/speakers are enough to see the app working. - Microphone access is required to function. If access is declined, the app still opens normally but cannot process audio (this is expected). - If the status shows "AI: needs 48000 Hz!", set the device sample rate to 48 kHz in the Audio Devices panel. Pick yours on first launch or any time. • A clearly labelled Help button with a plain-language guide, plus hover tips on every control (on Mac). • Keeps running with the screen off, so a service or soundcheck is never cut off. • Mac: the window is now resizable and maximizes to fill your whole screen. • Fixes: the Audio Devices and Legal pages now open and close reliably, and Quick Setups apply instantly with clear on-screen feedback.
