No feed. No account. No algorithm deciding what came next. Spindle brings that back. A player you hold. A real jog wheel: drag to scroll, flick to coast, spin to scrub. Eyes-up and thumb-driven. Not another screen of flat buttons. Your collection, one turn away. Albums, artists, songs, genres, and folders: on a shelf you can spin through. Loved and most-played stay close to hand. You bring the curation. The music you own, in the order you meant it. Spindle just plays it back. And it plays your library right. Every lossless format: FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, WAV, plus MP3 and AAC, all at native rate, untouched. No in-app resampling, no DSP. That's True mode, on by default; it powers a 10-band EQ when you want it, flat when you don't, and if you ever hit a snag you can switch back to the native iOS player. Gapless throughout, AirPlay 2 for the room, and CarPlay for the car. Scrobbles to Last.fm, if you keep count. Get your music in, fast. • Shuffle and repeat now stay within the album or playlist you started from — no more drifting into your whole library. Shuffle plays a full pass of the list, and a new setting (Settings → Playback → “When a list ends”) lets you loop, shuffle your library, or stop. • Fixed shuffle sometimes showing one song while a different one played — including when shuffling a playlist in CarPlay. • Re-importing your music no longer creates duplicates, and any existing duplicates are cleaned up automatically. • New: tap the ladybug on the display to send an anonymous bug report.
