OwlScan turns documents, receipts, IDs, contracts, handwritten notes and books into clean PDFs you can search, organise, review, sign and export. Scanning is free. There is no third-party account, and scanned documents are not stored on our servers.
Available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. With Pro, optional iCloud sync keeps your document library available across devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
EXPENSE REPORTS THAT TAKE A MINUTE (free)
Claiming fuel, parking or travel costs usually means digging receipts out of a glovebox the night before the deadline. Scan each one as it happens instead. Fuel, parking, toll, transit and hotel receipts are tagged automatically from their own text, so a month of scans filters down to just the fuel in one tap. When it is time to file, open Expense Report, filter by tag and date range, pick the receipts you are claiming, and OwlScan orders them by the date printed on the receipt into a single PDF: a summary page listing every receipt with its merchant, date, amount and page number, running totals per currency, then every receipt image in order. Share it by email, Files, AirDrop or anywhere else iOS can send a PDF. Exports carry a small "Generated by OWL Scan" stamp, which Pro removes.

PRIVACY
Scans stay on your device unless you use iCloud sync, which uses your own Apple Account. We do not store your scanned documents on our servers. Text recognition and supported summaries run on-device. Creating an Apple Wallet pass sends the selected pass details to our signing service.
Pro is $0.99/month or $9/year. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and can be managed in your Apple Account settings.

- Copied scan text stays on this device and clears after two minutes.
- CSV exports are safer to open in spreadsheet apps.
