EGK围棋Go brings the ancient strategy game of Go (围棋, Weiqi, Baduk) to your iPhone and iPad with a beautifully crafted navy-and-gold interface built by EGK Microelectronic Solutions Group.
Go is one of the oldest board games in continuous play, originating in China over 2,500 years ago. Two players alternate placing black and white stones on a grid, aiming to surround more territory than their opponent. Simple rules, infinite depth — Go remains one of the most studied strategy games in the world.

- Area Scoring with Komi — when both players pass consecutively, the app automatically calculates territory and stone count, applying the standard 7.5-point komi compensation for White, and declares the winner.
- Undo & Resign — review your last move with one tap, or concede gracefully when the position is lost.
- Last-Move Marker — a subtle gold ring highlights the most recent stone placed, so you never lose track of the game's flow.
HOW TO PLAY
Black always moves first. Tap any intersection on the board to place a stone — turns alternate automatically. Surround your opponent's stones completely (remove all their liberties) to capture them and clear them from the board. You may not play a move that would leave your own stones with no liberties (suicide), and you may not immediately recreate the board position from before your opponent's last move (the ko rule). When neither player wishes to continue, both pass in succession, and the app totals territory plus stones on the board to determine the winner.
