Retriv 2.0 is our biggest update yet. SMARTER LISTENING • Long answers are understood far better. Say "The Declaration of Independence" and small mishearings no longer count against you. • Retriv now knows hundreds of words that sound alike: peace and piece, Wales and whales, principal and principle. • Maths out loud: say "divided by," "over," or "a squared" and it's understood. • New "I said it right" button. If speech misheard you, see what it heard next to the answer and count it with one tap. • No more cutting you off mid-answer, and Retriv never hears its own voice as your answer. STUDYING • Leave mid-lesson and come back exactly where you left off, Recap Round included. • Tap Repeat during practice to see the question again. • Long answers now shrink to fit the card. • Smoother card flips and swipes. CREATING CARDS • Edit, delete, add and reorder cards in any lesson. • Rotate photos while choosing what goes on a card. • Replace or remove a card's photo, or remove pictures from every card in a scan with one tap. CLASSROOMS • Teacher edits now reach students automatically: new cards, changed pictures, renamed lessons. • Tap a shared lesson to start studying it right away. • Classes refresh on their own, so new announcements and lessons appear within seconds. • A refreshed class page with a cleaner announcement board. iPAD • A redesigned iPad layout: a dashboard home, lessons in a grid, and more room on every screen. Plus Aloft now uses word answers only, better handling of phone calls, and many smaller fixes.

TYPE OR TALK — YOUR CHOICE Studying somewhere you can't speak? There's now a "Type your answer" button right under the answer box, plus a Voice/Typing switch at the top of every lesson. Change your mind as often as you like, mid-lesson, without losing your place. DOWNLOAD ONLY THE LESSONS YOU WANT Library lessons now download one at a time when you tap the + on them, instead of all loading at once. The app opens faster, uses less data, and anything you've downloaded keeps working offline. Remove a download whenever you want — your progress is saved and waiting if you add it back later. VOICE SETUP THAT MAKES SENSE Retriv now explains what the microphone is for before iOS asks for permission, and shows you how to turn it back on if you said no the first time.
