8PWD 2026 – Offline Passwords

2FA code · AutoFill · Pay once

Free · In‑App Purchases

Cybersecurity Awareness Month: move your passwords out of the browser. 2.0 brings a new AutoFill picker, self-filling 2FA codes and encrypted AirDrop. Pay once; 10 free. Your passwords, on your device, and nowhere else. 8PWD 2026 is a password manager that works with the network switched off — because it has no networking code of its own. No account. Nothing syncs. No server on our side that could ever leak. Turn on Airplane Mode and everything still works: unlocking, AutoFill, two-factor codes, backups. TEN SECONDS TO START Open the app, tap once to agree, and your vault is ready — encrypted with a key created on this device and kept in its Keychain. Nothing to memorise on day one. Turn on Face ID / Touch ID for the app, or anti-theft encryption with a master password, whenever you like. PAY ONCE, KEEP IT FOREVER 8PWD 2026 Pro Lifetime is a single purchase: no renewals, Family Sharing with up to five family members, one purchase for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Prefer to subscribe? Yearly has a 7-day free trial; monthly is there too. The free version holds 10 passwords with every feature included. WHAT YOU GET • Easy Mode on iPhone: large text and fewer steps for anyone new to phones — save, find and print passwords; switch back any time. • Make it yours: eleven color schemes (Pro) — Amber, Navy, Crimson, Graphite and more — and a text size for the whole app. • Fill any login in one tap with system AutoFill — in Safari, in apps, on Mac. • Two-factor codes built in: scan a QR code, import a screenshot, paste an otpauth link or migrate from Google Authenticator in one go. Widgets show pinned codes with a privacy mode. • Bring everything over from Apple Passwords, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Bitwarden, 1Password, KeePass, LastPass, Dashlane, Proton Pass, Enpass, CSV or pasted text — with a preview and duplicate skipping. • A security grade from A to J with a monthly trend and a four-page PDF report; weak, reused, long-unchanged (you set the period) and no-2FA passwords each cost stated points. • Wi‑Fi passwords as their own module: one QR code per network, a guest scans and is online. Wi‑Fi never counts towards the free limit. • Members: a family's passwords in one vault — Me, Sam, Mum — export one person's share when they get their own phone. • iPhone, iPad and Mac, each done properly: sidebar and two-column lists on iPad; sortable table with batch actions, keyboard shortcuts, drag and drop, multiple windows and Touch ID on Mac. • Backups you own: export a .8pwd file (encrypted if you like), schedule local backups, get a reminder after 30 days without one — the plain form is XML, never locked in. HOW IT IS PROTECTED Passwords, two-factor secrets, notes, Wi‑Fi passwords, deleted items and password history are AES‑256‑GCM ciphertext. The data key is generated on your device and kept in the system Keychain; turn on anti-theft encryption and the vault opens only with your master password (600,000 rounds of PBKDF2) or Face ID / Touch ID — a stolen phone with a known passcode still can't open it; a 12-word recovery phrase covers a new device. We hold none of them. No analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs; the only network call is Apple's StoreKit when you buy Pro. PRO IN-APP PURCHASES - Lifetime: US$99.00, one-time purchase, Family Sharing - Yearly: US$29.99/year, 7-day free trial, Family Sharing - Monthly: US$5.99/month One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac on the same Apple ID; Restore Purchases restores eligible purchases. If a subscription lapses, nothing is deleted: existing records stay available for viewing, search, copy and AutoFill; adding more is subject to the free limit. READ THIS BEFORE YOU START We hold no copy of your key. Lose the device before setting a master password — or lose both the master password and the recovery phrase afterwards — and only your own backup can bring the data back. Export one when the app reminds you. 8PWD 2026 is the 2026 edition of the 8PWD family; a future year edition would be a separate app. Ten languages; the English legal texts prevail. • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• AutoFill 2.0 (iPhone / iPad): the picker is redesigned — the site at the top, the best matches as cards, and every other account one tap away. When several accounts fit one site you choose; the one you picked last time is remembered for that site. • Verification codes fill themselves: 2FA codes linked to an account now appear in the keyboard’s AutoFill suggestions and in the picker, with a countdown. Any field — PIN, recovery code, card number — can be inserted into any text box from the keyboard. • Title with a real Edit button and a large editing view: the account name is shown big with “Edit” next to it; tapping any field name or value opens a full-width editor with quick picks — no more squinting into a tiny box. • Field management: hide fields you don’t need (they stay in your backups and can be restored) or delete them for good. A Field library under Settings › Vault decides which names appear in “+ Field”, in any order you like. • Share one record encrypted: pick “Share encrypted” on an account and send it by AirDrop, Messages or Mail as a .8pwdshare file. It is AES-256 encrypted on your device with a one-time 6-digit code you tell the recipient; they open it in 8PWD. No server, ever. • Travel mode (off by default): choose folders or members to hide; while it is on they vanish from lists, search, AutoFill, widgets and Quick Access. Turning it off asks for Face ID / Touch ID or your passcode. • Mac: Quick Access shows the current 2FA code with its countdown right in the results; copy it with ⌥⏎ as before. Mac goes straight from 0.0.2 to 2.0 and includes everything from 1.1: Easy text sizes, color schemes, anti-theft encryption, recovery phrase, redesigned Pro page and the lock-screen fix. • Tapping a plan on the App Store product page opens that plan directly; a rating card on the “Me” page replaces guesswork; the Security report title no longer gets cut off; Apple Passwords users get a two-step import hint on first launch. • Liquid Glass surfaces on iOS 26 / macOS 26 for the AutoFill picker, editing view and cards, with the familiar look on older systems.
