**Spyware.** A new screen that says what can really be known about your iPhone, and what cannot. It warns you if the screen is being recorded or mirrored, if the system shows signs of tampering, and it blocks the command servers of known monitoring software — across the whole phone, not just Vault. And if you have a serious suspicion, Vault examines the diagnostic package your phone produces on its own: no app can read those traces by itself, and the package never leaves the device. **Password safe.** Your passwords inside Vault, encrypted on the phone and opened with Face ID. The key stays in the chip and never leaves the device; only unreadable material reaches the server. If you have more than one device, they keep each other up to date. **Duress code.** If you are forced to unlock the app and type the second PIN, all local data is now genuinely erased — dossier, password safe and hidden chats included.
