It collects the patterns, best practices, named laws, and psychological principles behind good user experience, each explained in plain language with a clear "apply" note, a good-versus-bad example, a concept illustration, and, where it helps, an interactive demo you can play with. FOUR PILLARS • Patterns: reusable solutions like progressive disclosure, empty states, and onboarding. • Best Practices: actionable do and don't guidance, from sensible defaults to touch target size. • UX Laws: the named laws and effects, including Hick's, Fitts's, Miller's, Jakob's, and Von Restorff. • Psychology: broader concepts and biases, including the Gestalt principles. FIND BY MEANING Search understands what you mean, not just the words you type, and ranks the most relevant entries with a short summary. Ask a question in plain language and get a short, grounded answer that points you back into the guide. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs on your device. The guide ships inside the app and works with no connection. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking of any kind. Designed to be quiet and legible, with a clear type hierarchy and a single functional accent. Light and dark themes included.
