Prayer alerts, rebuilt around one idea: every prayer is yours to set on its own. • Choose which of the five prayers sound the adhan, and which arrive with your phone's own tone. • Set more than one reminder before a prayer — 15 minutes is there already; add or remove 5, 10, 20, 30, 45 or 60. • Tap the bell on Home to land straight on those settings. Hold it to turn alerts off, as before. • The adhan played inside the app now respects your phone's silent switch. Your current settings are kept exactly as they are. Listening • The reciter you are hearing now has a name you can tap — save him, share him, open his page. • A recitation you have played before starts again straight away and uses far less data. • Free listening in Radio pauses after three hours in a row; one tap continues it. The Quran reader's own audio and the adhan are never counted, and Noor Plus never pauses. Halal scanning • Ingredient names are now read in twelve languages, so far fewer ingredients come back unrecognised. • When Noor cannot read a single word on a label, it says so instead of giving you an answer. • When a scan finds nothing, photograph the ingredient list — Noor reads the words, answers you, and that answer helps the next person. The words are kept; the photo is not. • More products have an answer in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia and Egypt. And fewer freezes and crashes, including one that could stop the app while audio was playing.

• The call to prayer now plays by default for prayer notifications — you can change or silence it any time in Settings. • Home now shows which authority your prayer times follow, so you can see the source at a glance. • Prayer times updated to match the recognised local authority's own published method in more countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Jordan, Russia, Egypt, Morocco and South Africa. Afternoon (Asr) times in particular may differ from previous versions. • Noor now opens in your phone's language the first time you launch it. • More reliable prayer alerts, plus fixes for freezing, audio playback, and settings that could fail to load on a locked device.
