Joya Live Experience
Live the moment, unplugged
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Joya is the app that finally helps you put your phone down and live the moment.
When you arrive at a party, a concert or an event, you turn on focus mode: distracting apps and the camera pause for the duration of the event. The result: you're truly present, with the people around you — not behind a screen.
It's 100% voluntary: you choose to turn on focus mode, and you can take your phone back at any time (at the exit, at the end of the event, or from your iOS settings).
FOR GUESTS
• Join an event by scanning a QR code (or an NFC tag).
• Switch to focus mode: enjoy the moment, distraction-free.
• Capture a few memories right inside the app.
• Earn rewards for staying present.
• Take your phone back whenever you want.
FOR ORGANIZERS
• Create experiences where your guests are truly there.
• Follow your event live.
• Reward the most present guests.
Joya never accesses your activity: the app only applies the blocking that you authorized yourself, via Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls).
Live the moment.

Live monitor: the guest counter now shows the real number of people present, however large the crowd, and the screen stays responsive when the venue is full.
1.2.0 Sep 28
Live dashboard
Organizers follow their event in real time: arrivals, departures and incidents, minute by minute. Past events can be reopened to review how they went.
Immediate alerts
Alerts sent to the venue team during an event now arrive without delay, even when the phone is in a Focus mode.
Blocking restored, penalty lifted
If Screen Time access is removed during an event, the organizer is notified straight away. And as soon as blocking is restored, the penalty is lifted automatically — even if the app was closed in the meantime.
Fixes and reliability
Joya now requires iOS 16.2, the first version on which its blocking monitor actually runs.
1.1.9 Sep 22
More reliable automatic unlock when you leave the venue.
Stronger blocking during events: Magnifier, Files, Maps, Measure and other Apple apps are now hidden.
New organizer option "Enhanced monitoring": screen recording is reported as soon as it starts.
Private messages and gifts arrive faster.
Bug fixes and stability improvements.
New "Hostess" role: she welcomes guests at the door, with the entry and exit QR codes and the alerts list.
Managers can now build their own team without waiting for the venue owner.
Clearer team codes: the QR marks itself as soon as it has been used, and an already-scanned code explains what to do instead of showing an ambiguous message.
More reliable blocking: it re-arms by itself if a permission was granted after entry.
Fairer alerts: a phone that is switched off or out of battery is no longer mistaken for cheating.
App authenticity now verified by Google and Apple.
Navigation and stability fixes.
1.1.8 Sep 20
Clubs: one owner account can now manage several clubs, with a logo per club and monthly reach shown for each.
• Choose your language from the flag at the top of every screen; your choice is remembered.
• More reliable phone pausing: scheduled breaks and the end of the event now work even when Joya is closed.
• Smoother entry: the permissions screen no longer repeats, and an event link opens only one entry.
• Signing event terms is clearer and more reliable.
• Many fixes for guests, organizers and staff.
1.1.5 Sep 15
Festivals and large venues: organizers can now set the automatic unlock distance up to 10 km.

1.1.4 Sep 14
The party network arrives in Joya.
Party feed: share your photos with the people around you, tag your friends.
Room and private messages: text, send a photo or a voice note to the people you meet tonight.
Party profile: you choose what others see, and you can go invisible whenever you want.
Report and block: one tap to block someone or report content.
At the door
Your honesty score appears the moment your phone locks.
Instant entry: no permission prompts left when you scan.
During the party
Photo flash: the countdown folds into a banner — you keep control of your screen.
Gifts: your drink or pass QR code now lives in the bell.
At the end
Automatic unlock at the scheduled end time, even with the app closed.
Unlock when you leave the venue.
Plus around thirty fixes: leaving a team, standby screen, notifications, overall speed.
1.1.3 Sep 12
Your party now ends exactly when you say it does.

NEW IN-APP PURCHASES IN THIS VERSION
Three consumable "capacity top-up" products:
com.joya.live.topup.50
com.joya.live.topup.100
com.joya.live.topup.500
They add extra guest places to an event already in progress.
They are sold to ORGANISERS, not to guests.
This release strengthens the heart of Joya.
• More reliable blocking: phone breaks, granted social windows
and influencer badges now apply correctly, including when the
app is closed and across midnight.
• End of event: rewards, scores and levels are now properly
awarded to every guest.
• Leaving the venue: detection is far more cautious. No guest is
removed from an event by mistake because of an inaccurate
location reading.
• New for organisers: capacity top-ups. When your event reaches
the number of places you paid for, you are notified and can
add places one step at a time, without buying a whole new
tier. Guests keep coming in while you top up.
• More reliable notifications and many stability fixes.

1.0.2 Jul 12
Joya lets guests voluntarily lock their OWN phone during an event to stay present.
Family Controls / Screen Time is used only as an opt-in focus feature on the user's
own device: the user grants Screen Time access and scans an event QR to start; they
can exit and unlock anytime. No control over anyone else's device.
TEST: Open app > Guest > quick setup. On the scan screen tap "Don't Allow" for the
camera > a manual code field appears > enter code RHFWD2 > grant Screen Time > the
session starts. Exit unlocks everything.
