iPhones and iPads without LiDAR can now capture a room with Photo room scan: the device measures the floor, and AI reads depth from your photos for everything above it. The iPad home screen is calmer and shows your real contracts, guests and placed items.

• You'll get a heads-up during a scan when storage or memory is running low (scans are saved on your phone, not on a server) • If a scan can't be saved, the app now tells you why • Leftover temporary scan files are cleaned up, so the app uses less storage • If the screen restarts, your most recent scan comes back first

• LiDAR / ARCore scan quality now matches real life more closely — on Pro iPhones, the second-stage per-face camera texture (built and tested, but never actually switched on) is finally live. On Android, colour is now weighted by how directly the camera faced each surface, so walls and floors seen at an angle no longer smear. • Fixed the Android scan camera showing only black, and added a live dot overlay so you can see what's already been captured while you scan. • Added the same Latin America regional culture checklists (Mexican, Brazilian, Andean, Argentine, Colombian, Caribbean, Maya, Chilean) to Android that iOS already had. • Added photo-to-3D item capture on Android.
