iKors is an arrowword: every clue sits in a square of its own, right on the board, and a small arrow shows which way the answer runs. There's no list of clues to flip back and forth to. You read, you type, you move on. If you've only ever solved the numbered kind, a one-minute intro on your first board shows you how it works.
Around that grid we've built a whole set of games, free to start, with four new crosswords every morning.
FOUR NEW CROSSWORDS EVERY MORNING
At 6 a.m. Eastern a new set is out: the big daily crossword, the Daily mini (an 8×8 for a coffee break), the Easy crossword and a Hexikors. They're free to solve. Keep a streak going, and see how you did against everyone else who solved the same board.
DUEL
A turn-based crossword match against a friend, a random opponent or a bot. You get 60 seconds a turn: drag tiles from your rack onto the board, and only the right letter sticks and scores. Double squares, a star square and a bonus for playing your whole hand keep it close. When it gets tight there are three power-ups: swap your letters, reveal a square, or buy 30 more seconds.
WEEKEND TOURNAMENT
Every weekend, Duel and Wordrush each run a knockout bracket. You're drawn into a division of up to eight players near your own level, and the division winner wins a coin prize. Coins are for use in the game only and can't be exchanged for money.
WORDRUSH
The crossword falls. Rows sink toward the line, and you solve the bottom one before it gets there. Race your own best run, take on the bot, or dare a friend to beat your score.
ADVENTURE
A map of levels that get a little harder at every step, chapter by chapter. A wrong word costs a pencil, fewer mistakes earn more stars, and your friends' avatars sit along the trail so you can see who's ahead.
HEXIKORS
The same idea on a board of hexagons: answers run three ways, and there's a new one every day.
SOLVE TOGETHER
Send a link or a QR code and solve the same grid with family or friends in real time, each of you in your own color, with chat one tap away. Afterwards you can see exactly who wrote what.
MAKE YOUR OWN
Turn a photo into a crossword. Pick a picture and a hidden phrase, and our constructor builds the whole grid around them, clues and all. Keep it, or give it as a present with a QR code.

Premium takes away the ad breaks, gives you free coins every day and starts Duel matches without coins. It also unlocks newspaper mode and every past crossword in the archive, in both languages, lets you print crosswords as PDF, and gives you more pencils in Adventure. You don't need it to play: the daily crosswords are free, and coins can also be earned by playing or by watching a short video.
