JotMind is a private voice notebook for the moments when talking is easier than typing. AI turns what you say into a clear, editable Note.
Recording, transcription, organization, and search all happen on your device. They all keep working even in Airplane Mode. JotMind does not upload your recordings, transcripts, Notes, titles, or searches anywhere. No account is required.
CAPTURE FIRST
Speak or type to start a Note. JotMind saves the original Capture before it organizes anything. The recording and any available transcript stay with the Note, so you can return to what you said.
KEEP ONE THOUGHT TOGETHER
When the idea moves forward, add another Capture to the same Note. For an AI-generated draft, JotMind organizes the new content and adds it at the end, keeping the existing title and text. If you edit the draft yourself, new Captures stay attached; you choose when to organize them. Everything remains editable.
Add your own tags to Notes and browse by tag. Speaking or typing from Home while a tag is selected creates a new Note with that tag.
Search titles, JotMind Notes, and Captures. Share one Note, or export Notes and available transcripts as Markdown.
Basic includes Outline and transcribes the first five minutes of each voice Capture. Pro adds Deep Dive, Action Plan, audio import, and transcription of the first ten minutes per Capture. Recording can continue beyond these transcription windows; saved recordings remain available to play.
After upgrading to Pro, you can choose to extend transcription of a saved long recording to its first ten minutes and update the same Note. Replacing a manually edited draft requires your confirmation.
JotMind Pro is available monthly or annually. The App Store shows your local price and trial eligibility before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in App Store settings.

- Recording no longer stops at five or ten minutes. Basic transcribes the first five minutes per Capture; Pro transcribes the first ten. Saved audio stays available.
- After upgrading to Pro, choose to extend transcription of a saved long recording to its first ten minutes and update the same Note.

- Add organized updates to AI-generated drafts without rewriting earlier text or titles.
- Cancel and permanently discard a recording without sending it to Recently Deleted.
