The app opens again on iOS 27. Since the iOS 27 update it would not start for many of you, and that is now fixed. Also new: background reading at many stops in the Premium cities, revised texts and recordings in the audio guide, and search now finds UK cities under England and Great Britain too.

In Lucerne the old town walk now runs in a better order, with the Rosengart Collection right after the Chapel Bridge. Viewpoints that already sit on a route are no longer listed twice. Their tips have moved into the text of the stop, which affects Gothenburg, Reykjavík, Thessaloniki, Kilkenny, Glasgow and Vienna. The photo credits are complete and every source is linked. The info pages list all 78 cities again, and the start screen loads more calmly.

Plus a new introduction for every city, hundreds of new photos for viewpoints and day trips, and many refined texts.

The audio guide is all new: every audio script has been rewritten from scratch and re-recorded, in all six languages. Instead of read-aloud stop descriptions you now get original stories with researched facts for every stop. Also: hundreds of stop texts have been reviewed and refined, the help page now explains the audio button, and minor bugs have been fixed.
