The next-gen hunting guide. Draw any area and Gydepoint scores every 30-meter cell — terrain, cover, water, weather — then hands you the best spots and days. Gydepoint scores the ground you actually hunt. Draw any area on the map — a drainage, a unit, a block of public land — and Gydepoint ranks the best spots inside it for the species and the date you pick. Not a heat map you have to interpret. A short list of real coordinates, each one scored and explained in plain language. HOW IT WORKS Draw your own area. Any shape, any size. You are not limited to preset units or somebody else's grid. Pick a species and a date. Scoring is tied to the date you choose, because a September bench and a November bench are not the same place. Get ten scored spots. Each one carries a score, the terrain and habitat behind it, and a straight explanation of why it ranked where it did. See why. Every spot lists the signals that moved it — vegetation, elevation band, water distance, road distance, security cover, slope and more. When a signal could not be measured, it says so instead of inventing a number. WHAT IT WEIGHS • Habitat modeling per species, tied to the selected date • Terrain — elevation, slope, relief and escape cover • Wind and thermals, including whether you can approach without being winded • Water distance and cover type • Road and trail distance, and how far you would actually walk • Public land boundaries from PAD-US ROUTES AND ACCESS Gydepoint does not stop at a pin. It finds a place to park and a route in, weighing distance, climb, and whether the wind is in your face on the last stretch — because a good spot you cannot approach cleanly is not a good spot. FILTERS THAT ACTUALLY FILTER Set a maximum slope, a hike difficulty, a distance to water, public land only. Spots that fail your limits are removed, not quietly ranked lower. If nothing survives, Gydepoint tells you which filter did it rather than pretending the country is empty. SPECIES Big game — whitetail, mule deer, blacktail, Coues, elk, moose, caribou, bison, pronghorn, black bear, brown bear, mountain lion, bighorn sheep, dall sheep, mountain goat, javelina, musk ox and more. Upland and small game — turkey, pheasant, dove, wild hog, coyote. Waterfowl — ducks, Canada geese, snow geese, white-fronted geese, brant. MAPS Satellite and topo basemaps, public land boundaries, forest and BLM roads, motor vehicle use routes, trails and trailheads, wilderness areas, water, vegetation, and cell coverage so you know where you lose service. HONEST BY DESIGN Gydepoint tells you what it does not know. If a signal is missing for a spot, it is left out rather than filled in with an average. Scores you can check are worth more than scores that always sound confident. SUBSCRIPTION Gydepoint Lite and Gydepoint Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
