PREPARE WITH CONFIDENCE Get a curated, region-aware checklist tailored to the exact park you're visiting - documents, health and malaria reminders, smart packing, and before-you-go essentials. It even surfaces the details that catch travelers out, from tsetse-fly clothing tips to the altitude and cold on the Ngorongoro Crater rim. You can even add your own things to remember like camera battery or favorite book. TRACK EVERY SIGHTING Chase the Big Five with a live progress tracker, and log any animal with a single tap. Each park comes with its own species list - big game, antelope and small game, birds, and reptiles - with around 35 to 40 animals to look for. Every species includes a field-ID tip, its Swahili name so you can call it out to your guide, and real field photographs. Ten new parks - and a checklist that now matches where you're actually going. NEW PARKS Addo Elephant, Madikwe and Pilanesberg (South Africa), Amboseli and Samburu (Kenya), Chobe (Botswana), Hwange (Zimbabwe), South Luangwa (Zambia), Etosha and Damaraland (Namibia). That brings Safari Companion to 17 parks across 7 countries. BUILT AROUND YOUR PARK Your species goal is now sized to the park you picked, so a Damaraland trip no longer asks you to find animals that don't live there. EASIER TO PICK The park list is grouped by country — find yours at a glance instead of scrolling past everywhere else. MORE PHOTOS Gemsbok, springbok, hartebeest, gerenuk and puku now have full photo sets, bringing the guide to 61 species and 161 photos. FIXES • Swiping between photos in a species card now works. • The keyboard no longer covers what you're typing on Android. • Picking a park or a date now closes the keyboard.
