Riichi Mahjong. No nonsense. Built for learners and enthusiasts alike: offline play, guided play, three-player Sanma, and frictionless private online rooms. Zero gacha. Agari is a complete Riichi Mahjong game built by a mahjong enthusiast, for mahjong enthusiasts. No gacha. No battle passes, login walls, or premium currency. Just mahjong. Free to try. Play five full matches, then one single in-app purchase unlocks everything forever. No subscriptions. No ads, ever. Family-friendly. No fan service or provocative art: just a clean, dignified mahjong game you can play anywhere, around anyone. THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Single Player: Play four-player mahjong or three-player Sanma against capable AI opponents, completely offline. • Private Online Rooms: Play four-player mahjong or Sanma with friends and family. No accounts or sign-ups, just share a room code. • The Daily Wall: One round per day from the exact same wall dealt to players worldwide. EVERY RULE. NO SHORTCUTS. Agari follows the standard Riichi Mahjong ruleset used by major digital mahjong platforms, featuring full yaku support and accurate han, fu, and score calculations. The edge cases are all there: pao liability, nagashi mangan, abortive draws, double and triple ron, and enchousen extension rounds. The scoring engine is open source. Every yaku, fu, and point comes from the Agari library, a published Rust crate. Anyone can inspect the math. AI THAT ACTUALLY PLAYS MAHJONG The AI plays real mahjong, not a simplified approximation. It evaluates tile acceptance, shanten distance, five-block theory, call decisions, and discard danger. Choose from four distinct play styles: Offensive chases fast hands, Defensive avoids dealing in, Menzen keeps its hand closed, and Balanced sits between. Set each opponent's style, the whole table at once, or a random mix. Tune the table with Normal for strong play or Easy for a casual game. A TABLE WORTH SITTING AT Agari's 3D table uses a telephoto camera perspective. The compressed depth brings tiles forward, keeping them crisp and readable on mobile screens without leaning in. Customize your table with felt, fabric, or leather surfaces, multiple tile-face designs, and color palettes including black tiles. LEARN AND IMPROVE • Interactive Lessons: Step-by-step guided tutorials teach core foundations on curated tables, with hands dealt to illustrate specific concepts like building closed hands, calling for speed, and recognizing basic yaku. • Kaisetsu (Guided Play): Turns a single-player match into real-time guided practice. Get advice on discards, calls, riichi, and push or fold. Every recommendation comes with its reasoning in plain mahjong terms: tile acceptance, hand value, and real deal-in risk. When a choice is genuinely close, it tells you that too. Kaisetsu games never count toward your statistics. • Built-in Reference & Helpers: A full reference covering every yaku with examples, a lexicon, and scoring tables, plus an optional live tenpai helper displaying your waits and tile acceptance. A CAST OF VOICES Every chi, pon, kan, riichi, and ron call is voiced in Japanese by real human voice actors. Choose from distinct male and female character voices for yourself and AI opponents, or mute them anytime for a quiet table. REVIEW EVERY HAND Every match is recorded directly to your device. Filter history by placement, format, mode, or best hand. Open any match for a score ledger showing the winning hand, yaku, han, fu, and dora. Replay any round on the 3D table with all hands face-up and wait and danger indicators displayed. Step through each turn, or watch the whole round play out. YOUR STATS Track performance over time: first-place rate, deal-in rate, yaku frequency, and han distribution. See which yaku you have won and which you are still chasing. Stats sync across your devices. THE DETAILS • Riichi music tracks that kick in upon declaration. • Cinematic win overlays displaying your hand as your yaku are called out. • Independent volume sliders for menu music, riichi music, voices, and tile sounds. • Full English and Japanese localization.

Custom Colors Choose your own custom colors for tile backs and the table in Settings > Decor. iPad Your hand now sits higher on the table instead of at the bottom edge of the screen, and call buttons stay clear of your waits. Improvements • Added a setting to hide the shanten count (Settings > Match). • Your winning hand now lays face-up on the table like the other seats. • Lower battery usage during matches.
