BMA Audio Player is an audiophile music player for Mac. It plays DSD natively, every high-resolution lossless format and the usual compressed ones, with a 16-band equalizer, a musical tone processor and a real-time spectrum analyzer.
NATIVE DSD (DSF / DFF)
Real 1-bit DSD playback by a purpose-built decoder. DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256, with a dedicated DSD preamp to level-match your PCM files.
HI-RES & LOSSLESS
FLAC, ALAC, WAV and AIFF lossless, plus MP3, AAC, M4A and OGG Vorbis. Each file plays at its native sample rate, and a clear signal path always shows source → DSP → output.
16-BAND GRAPHIC EQ
A ⅔-octave graphic equalizer with an adjustable ±6 dB preamp. Flat by default: transparent whenever you want it.
BMA-MSEQ TONE PROCESSOR
Musical tone shaping with temperature, bass extension, thickness, vocals, presence and air controls, laid out low to high like a studio console. Includes presets and toggles on and off instantly.
REAL-TIME SPECTRUM
A dual-FFT analyzer with fine bass detail, 21 or 31 bands, four color styles and a glow effect.
LIBRARY, PLAYLISTS & QUEUE
Browse by songs, albums, artists and genres. Playlists with cover mosaics, a Sonos-style play queue, instant search, keyboard shortcuts and drag-and-drop from Finder. It remembers where you left off when you reopen the app.

• Fixed: in very large libraries (thousands of songs) some album covers went missing and those songs could not be played after relaunching the app. If this happened to you, add your music folder to the library once more and it stays fixed.
