The ARCHV is football with a memory.
Every big sports app sells you the same thing: live scores, breaking noise, betting lines. This one is a reading room. A daily archive of the game in original painterly illustration, written plainly and labelled honestly.
The promise, in full: no ads, no account, no betting, and one quiet notification a day. Open it and read.
Inside:
- Home. The day's lead story, then the desks: Football Leagues, the Transfer Desk, and International Football.
- Transfer Desk. A daily wire that separates done deals from rumour and names its sources. A signing is reported as done only when it has gone through. Until then it is kept as a rumour.
- Football Leagues. Pre-season, the top divisions, the Champions League, and the MLS stories worth your time.
- International Football. The 2026 World Cup day by day, and the internationals that follow it.
- Archive. Finals retrospectives, a poster line of the great nights, football legends, and long reads on the history behind the game.
- Saved. Keep any story on your phone. It works offline.
The app reads in six languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Italian. Set it to any of them other than English and any article can be translated on the device, for free, with the original a tap away. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Every portrait is original artwork. No photos, no club crests, no stock.
A few small details: pull to refresh plays out as a penalty kick, scrolling past the bottom of Home shows a yellow card, and every story ends on a coin you can spin.

Two new things.
Duels puts two players side by side and splits each row between them. Appearances, goals, caps, with the leading side in gold. Share it and the card carries the source and the date with it.
The daily archive game is one player from football's past, four clues, five guesses, a new one every day. Your streak stays on the device, and it all works with no signal.
Numbers come from Wikidata, and every stat says where it came from and when it was read.
