Create encrypted encrypted folder vaults, unlock them in your file browser when needed, and relock them when your work is done. No account or cloud service required. Folder Lock is a focused desktop utility for protecting specific folders without changing how you work with files. Choose a folder, choose where to save the vault, and set a passphrase. Folder Lock creates an AES-256 encrypted sparsebundle, copies your files into it, then moves the original folder to Trash only after the encrypted copy succeeds. When you need the files again, unlock the vault and it appears as a normal folder in your file browser. When you are done, relock it by unmounting the vault.
