A ride you set a new personal best on now says so, right on the summary screen, before you share it. The branded share card has four grounds to choose from now, instead of the same look every time. Sharing to Instagram now carries a real link back to the ride - a friend who taps it lands on it, not a search for the app. Riding with two or more people, you can share the whole crew as its own card. A timed lap at a circuit can be shared on its own card, with the track name and your best time. Pro: apex now flags corners where you were still slowing down after the apex - the same thing a riding coach watches for. Fixed: the lean pins on a shared ride could bunch up on one corner and hide the rest of the ride.

The second tab is Rides: what other riders have been out on, both the riders you follow and the riders you have actually ridden with. Your own rides moved to your profile, where your name and your bike already were, drawn as cards instead of table rows. Everything you can change (account, privacy, plan, units, alerts) is behind the gear at the top of the profile. Ride maps now keep their corners. A hairpin is drawn as a hairpin instead of being cut off by the route being stored too coarsely.

Ride together. Start a group ride and send one link to your riding group - everyone follows the same route on their own phone, and if a rider misses a turn the group is told while they are still findable. Your position is shared with that group only while you are recording, and is deleted when the ride ends. Leaderboards now compare lean angle first. You can choose the name other riders see. Rides that never moved no longer record a lean angle. Fewer notifications - at most one a day.

Fixed: the app could hang on the loading screen when the network was slow or unreachable. apex records offline, so being locked out by a bad connection was the worst possible failure. It now opens either way. Also in this release: - Crash watch, offered during setup. apex can watch for a crash and alert someone you choose if you do not respond. - The plans screen now names the plan you are actually on, and quotes the price of the plan you are actually buying. - Pro yearly is reachable from every upgrade screen, not only some of them. - Good-weather ride nudges are capped at one a week, and only go to riders who have not ridden. - Ride history opens faster.

Cleaner Record screen. The challenge and suggestion cards no longer push the screen around - they appear once as a banner you can dismiss with an X, and START stays where you expect it. More honest lean angles. A lean is now checked against the speed you were actually riding at, so a reading no bike could produce at that speed no longer counts toward your ride or the leaderboards.

Your ride, on the Pro screen. • The Pro screen now shows your own ride — your lean, your corners — instead of a list of features. • Fixed the corner count. A ride with dozens of bends was being reported as a handful; it now counts every corner you actually held. • The lean chart reads properly and no longer loses your deepest lean of the ride.

Post your ride card straight to Instagram - one tap, no hunting through a share sheet. Your profile photo now rides on the card. If your account is public, your rides publish automatically. Lap times at a racetrack, for Pro. A calmer record screen once you have taken your first ride.

Monthly challenge: beat your own best lean this month and Pro is free for 30 days. Your record, nobody else's. New riders now see the best roads near you straight away, instead of an empty app until your first ride. Riding-weather alerts are far more careful: no more nudging you out onto a road that rained two hours ago, and they now tell you WHEN the clear window starts.

Notifications are now explained before they are asked for, and there is a switch for them on your profile - so if you ever turned them off, you can turn them back on. Rides from any rider whose account is public now open properly, so a ride you share works for the person you sent it to. The profile screen is shorter: settings fold away and show what they are set to without opening. Pro unlocks the moment it is granted instead of on the next launch, and the paywall no longer offers a free trial to anyone who has already used theirs. Your top speed is no longer readable by anyone but you.

Crash detection is far less trigger-happy. A single jolt - a pothole, or the phone moving in its mount - could start the SOS countdown; it now waits to see whether the bike is actually down before alarming. Share a ride and your friends can open it anywhere, see the lean angle and the road, and try to beat it. Get a nudge the evening before good riding weather. Your speed is now yours alone. Nobody else can see it, on any screen.

More accurate max lean angle. Peak lean is now the angle you actually held through a corner instead of the single largest sensor reading, so a pothole or a jolt can no longer inflate a ride's headline number. Automatic pass detection is now available to every rider, not just Pro.
