Save contacts, share your card
Only for Mac

Mac
New: company names are read more accurately, and Building and Unit now appear when you review a scan — two fields you could never check before saving.
Every business card you're handed becomes a clean, complete contact — and your own card becomes something you can share with anyone, no app required on their end.
Free to try: scan up to 10 cards. Unlock cardlio once — a single purchase, no subscription — for unlimited cards, every export, and Office 365 sync.
SCAN ANYTHING WITH A CARD ON IT
• Live camera capture finds the card, straightens it, and reads it — even several cards in one shot
• Import photos or whole PDF stacks at once
• Paste an email signature and get a contact, no photo needed
• Review before saving: every field validated and editable
READS CARDS LIKE A PERSON WOULD
cardlio looks at the layout, not just the letters. The big name up top is the person; the line by the logo is the company. It title-cases ALL-CAPS names, repairs spaced-out emails, reads international address formats, and keeps multi-office cards straight. Every address is verified against Apple Maps and pinned.
YOUR NETWORK, VISIBLE
• A world map with your contacts' cards as pins
• Stats: countries, companies, industries, growth over time
• Search that filters — tap suggestions like "Industry: Finance"
• Duplicate detection and merge
HAND OUT YOUR CARD WITHOUT THE CARD
• Keep several cards — work, personal, a side project — and switch with a tap; every method below shares the selected one
• Share it as a link — your whole card travels inside the link and opens in any browser with an Add to Contacts button (free)
• Show a QR code anyone's camera can scan (free)
• Add it to Apple Wallet, QR included, two clicks from the lock screen
GET YOUR CARDS OUT (premium)
• Sync straight into your Office 365 / Outlook contacts — one click, no duplicates, even Business Fax
• Save cards to your Apple Contacts
• Export vCard, CSV, Outlook-ready CSV, and Salesforce-ready CSV
ALSO
• Syncs across iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your private iCloud
• WeChat IDs and LinkedIn addresses are read off the card into their own fields
• Voice notes: dictate context after a scan, transcribed into the card
• A built-in handbook explains everything, offline
MADE FOR THE MAC
• Draft a follow-up email after a scan — written on your Mac by Apple Intelligence, never on a server
• Your whole library as a gallery — keyboard navigation, adjustable tile sizes, instant search
• Press Space for a full-size preview; rotate, crop, and retouch the photo right there
• Scan with your iPhone via Continuity Camera, straight into the library
• Find any contact from macOS Spotlight; Handoff picks up editing on your other devices
• Drag a card out of the window and it lands as a .vcf file (premium)
• Import folders of photos or PDF stacks in one go
• Your card as a Wallet pass — built on the Mac, AirDrop it to your iPhone (premium)
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Scanning, recognition, and organizing run entirely on your device. Your library lives on your devices and in your private iCloud — no accounts, no tracking, no servers reading your contacts. Shared card links carry the card inside the link itself; it never touches a server. Office 365 sync sends contacts only to your own Microsoft account. Optionally bring your own AI key (Anthropic or Google) for the trickiest cards — off by default.
KNOW WHO YOU STILL OWE
• Mark the people you owe an email while you review the scan — one click, and only for the ones that matter
• A dot in the gallery and a "3 to follow up" filter show who's still waiting
• Hand any of them to Reminders with the person, company and event already filled in
• cardlio never reads your mail and never claims a message was sent — the list is yours to clear
cardlio is also on the iOS App Store — scan at the conference, tidy up at your desk.
Ratings & Reviews

Better at reading company names, and it now shows you parts of an address it used to hide.
• Company names are read more accurately. A slogan printed next to a logo is no longer glued onto the company name, a department heading no longer outranks the registered name, and a card whose email uses a parent group's domain now keeps the company actually printed on it.
• Building and Unit now appear when you review a scan. They were always being read and saved, but the review screen didn't show them — so they were the two fields you couldn't check at the moment you were checking everything else. Click either one to zoom the photo to where it was read.
• A building name run together with the street is separated out, so "456 Alexandra Road Fragrance Empire Building" fills both fields.
• On-device AI (Apple Intelligence): it no longer pulls the address into the job title, and no longer rewrites the honorific.
