RingLoop: Music Rhythm Game
Tap loops, make video clips
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: the level editor is free. Turn any MIDI file into your own loop, or start from a sample song.
RingLoop is a rhythm game built out of loops you can see.
Every song is a set of circles. Each ring carries one instrument — a bass line, a hi-hat, a lead — and a comet runs around it, lighting each note as it plays. Clear a ring and it joins the mix. By the end you are hearing the whole arrangement, and watching it turn.
Then you can film it. One tap renders the loop to a video, saved straight to your photo library, ready for Reels, Shorts or TikTok.
### How it plays
* Notes fall in lanes — tap them in time
* Clear a ring and it starts playing in the background
* Ring by ring, the song builds itself up
* Miss a note and the loop breaks, so stay with the beat
### Make a video of it
* Portrait for Reels and Shorts, landscape for YouTube
* 720p free, up to 4K with VIP
* Rendered offline, so the video is perfectly in time even if your phone can't keep up in real time
* Saved to your photo library — no watermark for VIP
### Dozens of loops, and your own
A catalogue of original synth tracks across house, synthwave, funk and chiptune, with new loops added over the air. The first four are free; unlock any other song by watching a short ad, or get them all with VIP.
Bring your own too, free: import any MIDI file, or start from one of our sample songs, and RingLoop splits it into rings, one per track. A short guided tour shows you around. Adjust the mix, split dense parts across rings, and play the result.
### Made to be quiet about it
* No timers, no lives, no energy
* Works offline
* Every instrument is synthesised on device from a real SoundFont
RingLoop is a small game about hearing a piece of music assemble itself under your fingers — and then keeping the recording.
* RingLoop is free to play with ads. VIP removes them — see details below.
