This update is all about making GermanLing steadier, faster and more dependable. READY FOR iOS 27 GermanLing is fully updated for the latest version of iOS and opens reliably on new iPhones. FASTER SIGN-IN Signing in and creating an account are noticeably quicker, especially on slower connections. MORE STABLE We fixed several crashes reported by learners, including issues with audio playback, the text-to-speech panel and the microphone prompt in Speaking lessons. SMOOTHER PRACTICE AND MOCK TESTS Drag-to-order questions now drop items exactly where you place them. When you finish a mock test, the timer stops straight away and your results are ready. BETTER OFFLINE LEARNING Downloaded lessons now open reliably without a connection, and your course list loads fresh when you're online, with saved content as a fallback when you're not. VOCABULARY REVIEW AND ACHIEVEMENTS Vocabulary review is complete, and achievements are now awarded reliably as you learn. CLEARER SCREENS When something can't load, the app now tells you so instead of showing an empty page. Accessibility improvements make the app easier to use with screen readers and larger text. SAFER ACCOUNTS Sign-in, consent and account deletion work the same way whichever sign-in method you use. Deleting your account now removes all of your data. Thanks for learning with GermanLing! If the app helps you, a rating or review means a lot to us.

A REFRESHED SUBSCRIPTION SCREEN The plan picker has been redesigned so it's much clearer what you're choosing. Weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions now sit side by side with the one-time Lifetime unlock, each with its pricing shown up front and your current trial status right at the top. Restore Purchases is easier to find too, so returning to GermanLing on a new phone or after a reinstall takes one tap. MORE ACCURATE FREE TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION STATUS Your 7-day free trial is now counted from the day you actually signed up, so the days remaining shown in the app are always correct. Subscription status is also read straight from our servers, which means a renewal, a cancellation or a restored purchase is reflected immediately instead of waiting for the next launch. If you subscribe on one device, the other one catches up as soon as you open it. A FRIENDLIER RATING PROMPT If you tap "Not now" when we ask you to rate GermanLing, we'll quietly check back another time instead of never asking again. And once you've left a rating, we won't ask you again at all. NEW TO GERMANLING? HERE'S WHAT'S INSIDE Six levels, A1 through C2. Structured courses that take you from your first "Guten Tag" to confident, exam-ready German, with a clear next lesson waiting every time you open the app. Eight ways to practise every lesson. Each lesson opens into Explanation, Vocabulary, Grammar, Dialogue, Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking — so you're not just reading about German, you're using it. Audio at the centre. Clear, natural-sounding German dialogues and listening exercises, with playback controls built for language learners: pause, scrub, and replay a line as often as you need. Audio keeps playing on your lock screen, so you can practise on a commute or a walk. Speaking and writing you actually get feedback on. Record yourself or write a response, and get a structured assessment against the criteria examiners look for — not just a right-or-wrong mark. Exam-style mock tests. Full-length practice tests with timed sections and scored results, so you know where you stand before test day. Progress that keeps you going. Daily streaks, study minutes, achievements and level progress, plus an optional daily reminder to nudge you back in. Learn offline. Download course content and keep learning on a plane, on the underground, or anywhere the signal drops. In your language. The interface is fully translated into English, Bengali, Hindi and Chinese, with adjustable text size and a dark mode. Thanks for learning with GermanLing. Ratings and reviews genuinely help us keep improving the app.
