PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
VanReceipts reads receipts entirely on your phone. Cloud itemization is optional and off by default. When you switch it on, a hard-to-read receipt is sent once, over a secure connection, to a third-party AI service to pull out the line items, which you confirm before saving. Nothing is sent while it is off.
