Bitmerge: merge data, compound income.
Drag matching tiles together and watch them fuse up an exponential chain: bit, nibble, byte, and onward toward the AI core. Every tile on the board earns for you, every second. Higher tiers earn far more than the pieces they're made of, so merging always pays.
MERGE UP THE CHAIN
Two identical tiles become one of the next tier. Simple to do, hard to put down. Each merge frees board space and multiplies your income.
EARN WHILE YOU'RE AWAY
Your board keeps generating while the app is closed. Come back to banked progress, reinvest, and push the chain higher.
RECOMPILE INTO QUBITS
When spawn costs wall you out, recompile: collapse your run into qubits, a permanent income multiplier that makes every next run faster. The reset is always free and always your choice.
BUILD THE MOTHERBOARD
Deeper still: escalate for kernels, then reboot into the motherboard underneath your board. Slot the AI cores you have built into real hardware (CPU, RAM, PCI-e, drive bays, BIOS) and each core permanently rewrites one of the economy's own constants. A reboot wipes everything else; the motherboard is what you keep.
AUTOMATE THE GRIND
Earn daemons that spawn, merge, defrag and even recompile for you, and keep working while you're away. Set their levers and leashes; the machine plays itself exactly as hard as you let it.
NEVER STUCK
A full board is never game over: a fresh spawn merges straight onto its match, more board space is earned in-game, and the recompile is always free. You can always recover without paying. That's a design rule, not a promise.
NEON BY DESIGN
Strict minimalism: clean lines, high contrast, and a living circuit-board background that ripples like water as you drag. Tiles are chips that grow with their tier (more pins, denser dies, extra electrons in orbit) until the top of the chain runs white-hot and the AI core turns prismatic.
EARN LIMITED SKINS
Timed events arrive on their own schedule and run on a save of their own, with their own board rules and their own prize. Finish one and the skin is yours for good, wearable the moment you win it.
CLIMB THE BENCHMARK
Game Center leaderboards rank your live balance as a benchmark index: spend and you drop, bank and you climb. A free-only division ranks players who never bought power.
NO ADS, EVER
No banners, no interstitials, no ad SDKs. Bitmerge is free to play with a few optional one-time purchases; nothing you must buy to keep playing.

I don’t know it’s the game, my phone or both but I played it twice and it over heated my phone to death. My phone would NOT charge more than a percent an hour for a couple days after playing this. Bummer cuz I really enjoyed the time I spent playing
Developer Response
Good news: version 2.2.1 is live now and it has the heat and battery work in it, so I hope things stay cool on your phone this time. If it still runs warm, the frame rate cap in Settings (30 fps is the sweet spot) brings it down a lot further. I would still love to know what hardware you are playing on, at support@isak.tech, so I can tune for it specifically. Thanks again for the kind words, and sorry again for the hot phone.
Great game! 1 suggestion

This game is fun! I see some other reviews mention how the game is new and is open to ideas for new content. I haven’t gotten very far yet so unless this is already in the game and I’m maybe just unaware of it.. it would be cool at certain progress thresholds where you unlock new “levels” or “worlds” maybe where there’s a “world map” that you get to new level points which takes certain progress to unlock and get further in the game. Each level could then have its own unique looking skin and maybe different background music or theme. Just a suggestion to break up the monotony of looking at 2 skins with the same motherboard hum the whole time. It would make the player be curious what the next level or world looks like and want to continue progress.Good luck with this new game, it’s got great potential 👍
Developer Response
Thank you, this is a good suggestion and I have written it down. Some of it is already in there, just not signposted: Recompile, ESCALATE and the motherboard are progress thresholds that each change how the whole board plays. There are also more skins than the two you have seen (they are earned rather than sold). But "each stage looks different" is the part I have not done, and you are right that it would give you something to be curious about. On music I will be honest: I left it out on purpose. An idle game sits open for hours, and a loop is the first thing people mute. The ambient hum is meant to be wallpaper rather than a soundtrack. What I am going to look into is scenarios and puzzles that add to the universe of progression and to the story of the AI you are training. Giving each of those its own look and its own sound bed is a genuinely good idea, and I will do my best to incorporate it.Thanks for playing, and for taking the time to write this up.
Game locked by upgrade
Dice-wizard
Would be good but a bug ruins it completely. Game bug completely shuts down all progress. If you use NVDIMM upgrade the tile becomes completely locked and can no longer be merged or deleted. If you don’t have enough room to merge blocks to reset the board then your save is permanently stuck. It’s really easy to do as well because there is no explanation and you would obviously test the upgrade you just purchased. If you test the upgrade immediately after buying it then your save is instantly ruined. This is not a rare bug or hard to access. It would lock almost every player if they are not aware of it beforehand.
Developer Response
Update: the NVDIMM lock that stalled your save was fixed in 2.0.62, and the game is on 2.2.1 now. Your save frees itself the moment you update (no starting over). If you give it another go, I would love to hear how it plays. If it has earned a better rating, an updated review would mean a lot to a solo developer. Anything still off, write to support@isak.tech and I will look at it personally.
Combines block puzzles with power ups

I was a little skeptical when I first started playing this game, but I quickly got addictive and then lost two days of my life.
Developer Response
Thank you! "Lost two days of my life" is the best review I could ask for. If you've got suggestions or feedback to make the game better, find me on Bluesky (@isak.tech) or at support@isak.tech. I read everything. Enjoy, and sorry about your calendar!
Battery saver mode is new and on by default: it draws the background more cheaply, so the game runs cooler and uses less battery. Switch it off in Settings if you want the full resolution look.
The frame rate cap has a new Auto setting, now the default, which eases the rate down if your device starts running hot. Pick a fixed rate instead and the game will never change it on you.
On Auto, the game now reads the device's own heat and Low Power Mode, so it eases off sooner when your phone is running hot.
