Turn videos into full-resolution PNG or JPEG frames, entirely on your Mac. Find FrameSnapper on the App Store directly from the app menu.
FrameSnapper does one thing, perfectly: it turns videos into all of their frames.
Drop one video, a batch, or an entire folder onto the window (or press Command-O) and every frame is exported as a numbered PNG - frame_000001.png, frame_000002.png, and so on. Each video gets its own folder created right next to the source, named after it. clip.mp4 becomes clip/. A dropped folder becomes "Folder Name Frames" with one subfolder per video, structure preserved.
WHY FRAMESNAPPER
- Every frame, not screenshots: frames are decoded straight from the video stream, so nothing is skipped or duplicated, even on variable-frame-rate footage.
- Full quality: lossless PNG at the video's native resolution. Rotated iPhone footage comes out the right way up.

- Batch-friendly: drop several videos or whole folders; up to two extractions run at once for stable CPU and memory use, with live per-video progress and cancel.
- Self-recovering: declined a folder permission? The row simply waits with a Grant button, and allowing the folder later retries everything automatically. Re-dropping a video replaces its old result.
