Manga Viewer is an image viewer dedicated to reading manga on your Mac. No fiddly setup required—just open a file and start reading, like holding a real book.

The app detects each page's aspect ratio: portrait pages appear as two-page spreads, while landscape pages (color title pages and wide illustrations) automatically display alone. You can also lock the view to "always single" or "always double."

Reopen a file and continue from the page you were reading. Dozens of books in progress? No problem. Everything is stored only on your Mac—not even file names are recorded (you can turn this off or erase the history anytime).

Open multiple books in tabs, or read side by side in separate windows—configure how files open to match your style. Optionally, opening a ZIP sets its cover as the file icon, turning Finder into your bookshelf (can be disabled).
