Import straight from your camera card. • Choose a whole memory card or any folder and Cull now finds the photos inside its subfolders, such as DCIM/100MSDCF on Sony cameras. Previously only photos at the top level were picked up. • If a folder really has no photos in it, Cull now tells you instead of returning to an empty screen. • Folder imports now keep access to every file until the import finishes.

Sharper photos everywhere you judge focus. • The review photo now shows every frame at full screen resolution — no more soft previews. • Zoom and face zoom read your original file at full detail, so you can check focus down to the eyelashes. • Portrait photos are no longer cropped on the review screen. • Frames load ahead of your swipe, so moving through a shoot stays instant. • Face zoom now lands exactly on the face, at full detail — and the face chips show each face, not the whole photo.

Nikon Z8 / Z9 support — and faster imports. • Fixed: RAW files shot in Nikon's High Efficiency (HE and HE*) modes failed to import. Cull now reads the camera's own full-resolution preview from inside the file, so those shoots import and score normally. This also covers any other RAW variant iOS can't decode on its own. • Full-resolution export now handles those same files. • Imports are about 30% faster — every frame is decoded once instead of twice. • Fixed a counter on the import screen that could read "0 logical frames" while a shoot was still pairing.

Cull 1.1 introduces the Pro toolkit — five new tools for working photographers, unlocked with a single one-time purchase (no subscription): • Compare mode — 2–4 frames of a burst side-by-side with synced zoom and pan. Verify the pick, then "Pick this" to decide the whole moment. • Focus map — a heat overlay showing exactly where focus landed. • People view — the shoot grouped by person: their blinks, their keepers, one-tap blink sweep per person. • Custom profiles — an AI strictness dial, plus optional learning from your overrules. • Pro export pack — full-resolution JPEGs of your picks and custom XMP label mapping. Everything from 1.0 stays free. ORF and other camera RAW formats are supported throughout.
