Hotaglow turns your phone into an offline SOS beacon using light, sound, and radio - for the outdoors and for emergencies. From the trail, the campsite, and the dark walk home, to blackouts and disasters: call for help even with no signal, no Wi-Fi, and no power.

Hotaglow is NOT a replacement for official emergency services (911 / 119 / 112, etc.). In an emergency, contact the authorities first whenever possible. This app does not guarantee rescue or survival; it is a tool to supplement and extend your ways of signaling for help. The screen-strobe and light-flash features produce intense flashing light - use with caution if you have a history of photosensitive epilepsy.

■ Which devices mesh reaches
Mesh connects iPhone to iPhone, or Android to Android — never across the two. A mixed group forms two separate meshes. Acoustic and QR work between any devices. This is now stated on the Settings and Send screens.
■ Faster, more reliable launch
The app no longer waits for audio to initialize while it starts. Audio is prepared when you actually use acoustic send or receive.
■ Fixed saving your PRO purchase state
Re-saving your entitlement after a purchase or a restore could silently fail. Fixed.
■ Privacy Policy and Terms updated
Every rescue feature works with no network at all. The only thing that needs a connection is buying or restoring PRO, which the App Store handles.
All rescue signals stay free.
