THE IPAD APP Tida on iPad is a real iPad app now, not a stretched phone. Three panels side by side — your buckets, the list, and the task you're looking at — and you can drag the dividers to set the widths you want. On a narrower iPad, or in portrait, you get two panels with the task detail rising from the bottom as a band you can drag. Long-press a bucket for a quick look without leaving where you are. Drag a task onto a bucket to move it there. SYNC KEEPS THEM IN STEP Your buckets and tasks stay in step across your iPhone and iPad, through your own iCloud. Still no account, and still no server of ours. HOW TIDA WORKS The tour is now three tours, one for each device, so what it shows you is the app you're actually holding. FIXES THAT NEVER REACHED YOU These were finished for 1.3.1, which was never released. They are here now. • Calendars have a master switch — one control to turn the feature off, with a glyph picker on each calendar. Turning it off no longer loses the calendars you chose. • Tapping a reminder highlights the task it was about, and the highlight no longer vanishes when the app refreshes behind it. • A finished event leaves the Upcoming widget. Timed events now stay until they end, in the app and the widget alike, so a meeting stays on your list while it is still happening. • Search finds calendar events, not only tasks. • One tap sets a ten-minute reminder on an event — and it follows the event if it moves to another day. • A task due at exactly the current minute reads as overdue in the widget, instead of waiting for the next hour. CALENDAR SYNC — PREMIUM Your Apple, Google and subscribed ICS calendars now appear beside your tasks in Upcoming, and in the Upcoming widget. Read-only — Tida never changes anything in your calendar. Tick an event off to dismiss that occurrence; it stays dismissed on your other devices. No account, no server of ours. iCLOUD BACKUPS — PREMIUM Save a moment you can come back to before a big change, and restore it later. Bucket icons are now monoline glyphs rather than emoji. Subtasks read as one list instead of a diagram. UPCOMING List, week and month views. Widgets — your buckets on the Home Screen Add a widget for any bucket, in small, medium or large. Large widgets let you check tasks off without opening Tida. Rows follow the bucket's own order, so nothing gets rearranged behind your back. Siri — add without looking Say "Add to Tida," then speak your task, and it lands in Inbox. Say "What's coming up in Tida" to hear your next few dated tasks read back. Both also show up in the Shortcuts app. Widgets and Siri are free. No subscription needed. Small things, done properly. — Recurring tasks in Upcoming Repeating tasks now show up on their future dates, and you can skip a single occurrence without touching the rest of the series. — Rearrange your buckets Press and hold the home screen to drag buckets into any order, or remove ones you no longer need. — A calmer keyboard Sheets and the add bar now move in step with the keyboard instead of jumping.
