YOU'LL KNOW WHEN A RECORD FALLS When a friend takes first place on a course you were leading, TrailTimer notifies you. Lives with the other sharing controls in Setup › Friends if you'd rather not know. EASIER COURSE MAP EDITING Every gate on one screen: tap a pin to move it, add a gate at the crosshair, or remove one you don't need. New gates snap onto your driven route and drop into the right spot in the running order. Big changes still ask before touching your record book. RECENT IS A FEED NOW Best and Recent now switch right at the top of the page, a Clear chip sweeps your filters in one tap, and re-tapping Results in the dock steps you back out to the full board. RECORDING A COURSE SURVIVES A LOCKED SCREEN The one a tester reported: driving a course to record it now keeps the screen awake, and keeps recording even if the screen does lock. If GPS truly drops mid-drive, TrailTimer flags the gap and lets you re-drive it or keep the clean stretch, instead of quietly placing checkpoints on ground it never saw. A STRAIGHTER ANSWER FROM THE GPS PILL If Precise Location is off, the pill now says so and offers an Open Settings button, instead of "Acquiring GPS…" forever for a fix that can't come. And when Low Power Mode is what's slowing the GPS lock, TrailTimer explains that too. FIX: CREW TIMES NOW SHOW IN RESULTS The one you reported: friends' shared times were syncing but never surfacing. Your crew's runs now land on your Results page everywhere you'd expect them — the Recent feed, every leaderboard, and circuit standings — ranked right alongside your own. And a run you delete now leaves your friends' boards too, even one deleted while you were offline. YOUR RUN, DEBRIEFED Finish a run and TrailTimer now breaks it down while it still matters: where you gained, where you gave it back, leg by leg against your own best. A one-line verdict can be read aloud as you roll off the course, and every run's debrief lives on its detail page — including older runs, any time you ask. TrailTimer Pro adds AI sector notes and a coaching tip on top; the numbers are free for everyone. FOLLOW THE COURSE A third Live Run background joins Map and Clean: Follow keeps the course map up front with a compact clock, and the camera tracks you while you race. ONE MACHINE, ONE RECORD BOOK When a friend shares a machine you already have in your garage, TrailTimer offers to merge the duplicates — every run, record, and posted result moves onto one vehicle. A manual Merge Into… lives in the vehicle editor for changed minds. A TIDIER TRACK LIBRARY Big libraries now shelve themselves — Favorites, My Tracks, From Friends, Discovered — and a new Clean Up Unused Tracks sweep offers to clear tracks with no runs and months of dust. Nothing is deleted without your say-so. YOUR DATA COMES BACK Reinstalled TrailTimer, or set up a new iPhone? The app now checks iCloud the moment you open it and pulls your courses, machines, and every result back down — and tells you exactly what it found instead of starting you over on an empty screen. Restored courses draw the real line you surveyed, and your race history lands in Results where it belongs. Setup › Data & Sync also gains a permanent Backup section: restore from iCloud whenever you want, or push everything on this phone up so your backup is complete — including older data that predates syncing. A QUIETER AUTO MODE Race Settings adds "Require Vehicle Telemetry." Turn it on and the "Start timing?" nudge only appears when your machine's OBD adapter is connected — so driving past a course in the tow rig stays silent. Trailer in and it still pings you the moment you turn the key. MORE PLACES TO RIDE Discover now finds motorsport facilities — kart tracks, raceways, motocross parks — plus numbered forest roads that carry no name at all. If the trail database is busy or slow, the search now rolls over to a backup server instead of coming back empty-handed.
