Your memories, in the round. Spatial Reel brings two tactile photo experiences to Apple Vision Pro: a handheld viewfinder and a vintage-style slide projector.
PICK UP THE VIEWFINDER
Bring the 3D viewer toward your face, turn the dial, and enjoy a focused collection of memories. Your surroundings gently dim as you look inside. Native Apple Spatial Photos retain their stereo depth in the viewfinder; regular photos are displayed naturally without artificial 3D effects.
MAKE AN EVENING OF IT WITH THE SLIDE PROJECTOR
On visionOS 27, cast your photos onto a wall or a movable virtual projection screen. Position the screen where you want it, auto-fit the projector, and lock the screen in place. Adjust brightness, contrast, image size, and keystone correction to suit your setup. Projector photos are displayed as flat slides.
BUILD PROJECTOR CAROUSELS
Group multiple reels into a longer projector slideshow. Add reels, choose their order, and play through their photos without manually switching reels. Each original reel stays separate and continues to work in the viewfinder. Removing a reel from a carousel does not delete it from your library.
ONE LIBRARY, BOTH EXPERIENCES
Create, name, and edit reels of up to seven photos. Reels you create while using the projector are saved in the same shared library as your viewfinder reels. Keep collections short and personal, then combine them into carousels whenever you want a longer show.

Use the Previous and Next controls below the screen, or turn on Autoplay to advance every four seconds.
WATCH TOGETHER
Start a SharePlay session to watch a projector slideshow with others. The host chooses the photos and controls playback. Guests can adjust brightness, contrast, image size, and screen alignment for their own space. SharePlay is available for the projector experience. All participants need a compatible version of Spatial Reel on visionOS 27 or later.
The viewfinder supports visionOS 26 and later. The slide projector experience requires visionOS 27 or later.
A FLEXIBLE MAIN MENU
Resize the main window to suit your space. Menu sections rearrange in narrower windows, the reel grid adjusts its columns, and the full menu remains scrollable.
