Tempo: Tasks & Habits
Focus timer & app blocker
Free · In‑App Purchases
Tempo is a task and habit app for people who don't just want a list — they want the time and attention to actually finish it.
Plan your day, build habits that stick, and block the apps that pull you away.
PLAN YOUR DAY
• Today, Calendar and Day views that keep the next thing in front of you
• Subtasks and checklists for anything with more than one step
• Tags to group work, study, errands, or anything else
• Time reminders, plus location reminders that nudge you when you arrive
• Repeating tasks for the things that come back around
• Import your lists from Apple Reminders, export tasks to Apple Calendar
• Share links, text and PDFs into Tempo from any app, then triage them later
BUILD HABITS
• Track habits with streaks and a year-round heatmap
• See progress at a glance, without turning it into another chore
CAPTURE BY VOICE
• Say what you need to do and Tempo turns it into structured tasks — titles, times, durations, tags and checklists
• Speech recognition runs on device
PROTECT YOUR FOCUS
• Focus sessions with 25, 50 and 90 minute presets
• Block distracting apps for the length of a session
• Look back at the time you protected
WIDGETS AND SYNC
• Home Screen widget for today's tasks
• Quick capture from Control Center
• iCloud sync across your devices
• A shared list so you can plan alongside someone else
TEMPO PREMIUM
Premium unlocks the tools that make focus automatic:
• Strict Focus — commit to a session you can't quit early
• Scheduled Blocks — protect the same hours every day
• Auto Focus — sessions that start themselves when a scheduled task begins
• Focus Profiles — separate app rules for work, study and personal time
• Allow-Only Mode — block everything except the apps you actually need
• Focus history, streaks and session stats
• Advanced habit insights with weekly targets and momentum
• Weekly Review — close out the week and roll unfinished work forward
• Live Activity so a running session stays on your Lock Screen
• Voice capture from Control Center
• Export your data whenever you want
• Up to 10 shared groups
App blocking uses Apple's Screen Time and asks for your permission first. Tempo can only block the apps you choose, and your Screen Time data never leaves your device.
