Watch Walks

Virtual walks on real trails

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

Walk the world's greatest trails, one real step at a time. Watch Walks turns your ordinary days into an adventure. Live your life as normal, and your everyday steps carry you down legendary routes: the Inca Trail, the Camino de Santiago, the Pacific Crest Trail and dozens more. There's nothing to start, no workout to record, no GPS draining your battery. Just walk, and watch your journey unfold on your wrist. YOUR JOURNEY, MAPPED Follow your progress along the real route of each trail, from the first step to the finish line, on a beautiful map that works fully offline. A STORY FOR EVERY LANDMARK Reach a milestone and unlock a short postcard from that place, so each trail becomes a journey you remember, not just a number. A gentle tap on your wrist marks the moment. MEDALS AND FEATS TO COLLECT Every trail has its own medal to earn, and there are dozens of achievement medals for the moments along the way: your walking streak, your biggest day, your lifetime distance, your milestone photos and more. Tap any medal to see exactly how to earn it. Walk a trail again, forwards or in reverse, and climb the ranks. KEEP YOUR STREAK GOING Build a walking streak at your own pace. Choose how far a day has to count, decide whether one rest day is forgiven so a quiet day never breaks it, and turn on a gentle reminder to keep the chain alive. WORKS WITH YOUR WATCH Built for Apple Watch, and pairs with Garmin watches too, so your journey is always a glance away. Your steps come straight from Apple Health, with nothing to keep open. SIMPLE, FAIR PRICING Begin with the Inca Trail, free. Unlock any other trail with a one-time purchase, yours forever. No subscription, no account to create. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads. No tracking. No sign-up. Your progress backs up quietly to your own iCloud, so it's waiting when you pick up a new iPhone, and nowhere else. Set it once. Then just live your life, and wake up somewhere legendary.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

- Two trails could not download their maps at all: the GR R2 on Reunion, and Kilimanjaro by the Lemosho route. Both work now, with their landmarks and photographs. - A pass no longer counts trails you already own when it shows you a saving, so the number you see is the real one. - Settings opens as a short list instead of one long scroll, and each row tells you what it is set to before you tap in.
