"Change your lens, and the world looks a little different." —the darkroom owner This update adds 1×/2× lens switching — one tap below the viewfinder. Phones with a telephoto lens go fully optical; the rest use digital zoom. A handy second focal length for the 50mm crowd.

"If you step out to take a call, the camera should still be ready when you're back." —The Lab Owner Fixed: the viewfinder went dark after switching to another app and back while shooting. Thanks to the kind customer who reported it in a review — five stars and a bug report, too generous.

"Quit a roll halfway? Eject it. Couldn't before. Can now." New shelf in the shop: ejected rolls rest there, six at most, every frame kept. Reload to keep shooting, or bring one in to develop. Unshot rolls just go back — no fuss. Same stock waiting on the shelf? I'll ask before you load a fresh one. And Pro films are labeled now: shoot free, pay only to develop. No surprises.

Two new films in stock. Double-X — the black-and-white they shoot movies on, with silver blacks no digital can fake. And Fujicolor 業務用100: plain name; those who know, know. The sample book is on the counter now. Flip it before you load, and stop asking me how each one looks. Re-mixed the Ektar bath — colors run truer. As for leader burns, my hands vary lately: sometimes a nibble, sometimes the whole first frame. That's film. New sign at the door, too.

Been fixing things around the shop. All of it, in one go. One — a few rolls came back with the colors wrong: greens gone red, cyan blotches on faces. Three days of digging: one developer bath was mixed off, and it only bit film brought in from outside. The bath's been replaced. Rolls still hanging will develop fine; bring back the ruined ones, I'll redo them on the house. Two — when the storeroom moved, some rolls still had labels pointing at the old shelves. People came to collect and left empty-handed. Every label's been rewritten. However many times this place moves, your film will be found. Three — the sign at the counter pointed Apple customers to Google's desk. New sign. Four — tuned up the camera while I was at it: the curtain drops where you can see it now, and the frame counter on top is polished. Whether it fired, which frame you're on — look for yourself, stop asking me. To the ones who reported things: thanks. This shop stays open because you watch it too.
