Start as a chicken shop owner and climb your way to landlord — a cozy Korean alley idle tycoon. Your shops keep earning even while you sleep. As of today, you run the chicken shop on this alley. OpenTown is an idle business sim set in a Korean neighborhood alley. Customers drop by on their own and leave gold behind. You spend it growing your shops, claiming the best corners, and finally buying the building you rent. And this alley isn't yours alone. ■ Business keeps running while you sleep · Three upgrade tracks per shop: Menu (earnings), Interior (customers), Staff (offline hours) · Your shops stay open after you close the app — come back to a receipt of everything you missed · Offline earnings run 4 hours by default, and every staff level adds 2 more · Start with chicken, then open a cafe, convenience store, snack bar, bakery, hair salon, PC cafe, flower shop and beer pub — 9 shop types ■ Location is the whole game (shared map) · Corner spots earn +15%, block-edge spots +8% — and there are only so many of them on the alley · Synergy pairs: cafe and bakery, chicken and beer pub, snack bar and PC cafe each get +10% when placed close · Spots next to the Alley Bank or the central plaza get a +5% landmark bonus · Good spots go to whoever claims them first ■ From tenant to landlord · You start as somebody else's tenant — 15% of your revenue leaves as rent, every second · Buy the building and rent drops to zero. Now the rent flows toward you instead · Alley Bank: demand deposits (withdraw anytime) and term deposits (1 week +5% / 1 month +25%) · Fill the regulars book — every regular adds +2% to your total earnings ■ The shop next door belongs to a real person · One neighborhood = one shared map for 30 players. Other players' shops really do open next to yours · AI shopkeepers and real shopkeepers live on the same alley — AI-run shops are marked with · Tap a neighbor's shop to send a cheer: they get +10% earnings, you get +5% · The weekly revenue ranking is players only — AI shopkeepers never appear on it · Rankings reset every Monday, and last week's top 3 get a crown badge and a gold reward · The shared map and neighborhood ranking require a sign-in — guests can still run their shops ■ Time passes on the alley too · Morning, noon, sunset, night — the alley and its neon signs follow your device's real clock · Rush hours by shop: cafes and bakeries in the morning, snack bars after school, chicken and beer pubs at night, PC cafes past midnight · Roughly once an hour a surprise event pops up — tap within 30 seconds for 5 minutes at triple revenue.
