WaveTone Studio is a powerful mobile audio studio for iPhone and iPad. Import audio files, record directly via the microphone, precisely edit your waveform, and export the results for music, clips, podcasts, ringtones, or quick audio ideas.
The app displays your audio file as a clear waveform with zoom, scrolling, and a playhead. While scrolling in the editor, a compact mini-waveform remains visible so you stay oriented even when tools are open. You can select regions, select all, delete, trim, copy, paste, fade in/out, or adjust the volume. VU meters with clip indicators help you keep an eye on levels and clipping.
Automated tools like Silence Trim, Noise Reduction, and De-Click help clean up disruptive passages faster: Silence Trim removes true silence, Noise Reduction smoothly zeroes out regions below an adjustable threshold, and De-Click smoothes out short clicks and pops. With Select All, you apply edits directly to the entire file, and the editor tools automatically arrange themselves in balanced rows.
For creative and technical editing, tools like Pitch, Speed, Crossfade, EQ, Reverb, Delay, Normalize, Limiter, Silence Trim, Noise Reduction, De-Click, as well as silence and noise generators are available. Changes become visible as a new waveform preview so you can immediately see what you are editing.
The export section supports popular audio formats and options like bitrate, sample rate, and channels. Additionally, you can select ringtones directly in the editor as a fixed region, move them, preview them, and export them. Afterwards, you can save the result via the share menu, send it, or pass it on to other apps.
