Click a file or folder name to rename it inline. Just like Finder, only the base name is selected by default while the dot and extension stay outside the selection — with the option to edit the extension too when you need to
Protected system folders (like your Home folder) can't be accidentally renamed
Subtle sound feedback confirms copy-paste and cut-paste actions; cutting can be cancelled anytime with the Escape key
