SleepOff is a compact menu bar utility that keeps your Mac awake exactly when you need it — and gets out of the way when you don't.
Made for long unattended tasks: AI agents and coding assistants, model training, builds, large downloads, presentations and screen sharing.
Three configurable profiles:
- Keep Awake — prevents idle system sleep while a task is running.
- Keep Awake, Allow Display Sleep — work keeps running while the display can sleep as usual.
- System Default — instantly releases everything and returns your Mac to normal sleep behavior.
Switch profiles from the menu bar or with global hotkeys, get a notification on every switch, and set an optional auto-deactivate timer. Each profile has its own name, power options, hotkey and notification setting. SleepOff can launch at login, so your profiles are ready when your Mac starts.
SleepOff uses only public macOS APIs and transmits no data off your device. Some sleep, display and lid-closed behavior remains controlled by macOS, hardware state and power source.
