Souffleur is the teleprompter that follows your voice.
Most teleprompters make you keep up with them: a fixed scroll speed you have to match, or a guess about where you are that jumps ahead the moment you pause. Souffleur works the other way around. It listens as you read, and the script moves at your pace. Pause to think, and it holds — it doesn't scroll on without you. Stumble over a word, repeat a line, skip ahead for a second — it finds your place again instead of guessing.
HOW IT WORKS
Tap the microphone and start reading out loud. Souffleur transcribes your speech with the system speech-recognition service and matches the transcript against your script in real time, so the line you're reading is always the line on screen. Lose your place entirely? Tap any word to jump straight there.

PRIVACY
Souffleur has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Your scripts and your recordings stay on your device. The microphone turns on only when you start reading, never at launch. While you read, your audio goes to the system speech-recognition service to build a live transcript; that transcript is matched against your script on the device, and the app keeps only a short rolling buffer of the last few words, discarded the moment you stop. If you record a take, the file is written to your device's storage and leaves it only when you choose to share it. No account, no subscription, no cloud.
PRICING
Souffleur is free to start, and the core of the app — voice-following and exporting your takes — is not a trial. Our pricing principle: the tracking itself is never paywalled and never carries a watermark.
