Moyu: Scroll & Learn Chinese

Real clips, captions & review

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Learn Mandarin from short, authentic video examples with timed captions and contextual word meanings. Immerse yourself in Chinese every time you scroll. Moyu helps you build fluency with short, authentic Chinese videos. Follow captions that stay in sync, tap anything you don’t understand, save what matters, and keep watching without breaking the flow. LEARN CHINESE, ONE SCROLL AT A TIME • REAL CHINESE, READY TO SCROLL Explore curated clips, shows, music, interviews, and more—content made for native speakers, not textbook dialogues. • UNDERSTAND EVERY LINE Follow timed Chinese captions with translations and optional Pinyin or Zhuyin. Tap any word for its meaning, pronunciation, and context. • BUILD VOCABULARY AS YOU WATCH Save words and complete lines in one tap. See how much of each video’s vocabulary you know and what you’re still learning. • REVIEW WORDS IN CONTEXT Practice with smart flashcards, then replay the exact video moment where you found each word or line. • SEARCH THE WAY YOU THINK Search in Chinese, Pinyin, Zhuyin, or English, and find real video examples that show how words are actually used. • MAKE CHINESE YOURS Choose Simplified or Traditional characters, Pinyin or Zhuyin, playback modes, daily goals, streaks, and optional reminders. Replace a few minutes of ordinary scrolling with Chinese you can understand, save, and remember. Start with one video and build fluency one scroll at a time. Access to the app requires a paid Moyu Pro subscription, available as an in-app purchase.
