The starting plan now works wherever you live, and the Lock Screen camera keeps your photo. • If Kesto has no typical amounts for your country, your budgets are now worked out as shares of what comes in, rather than left blank. Every figure is a guess you can correct, and the plan says so. • You are asked which currency you keep your money in, so a household outside the euro is no longer shown euros by default. • Answering "Somewhere else" used to skip the generated plan altogether and hand over a blank form. It no longer does: everybody gets the plan. • The plan's last screen counts only the lines that will actually be created, instead of promising bills it was about to drop. • The camera opened from the Lock Screen keeps the picture it just took. Taking a photo and pressing Use Photo could do nothing at all when Kesto was already open in the background; the photo is now read and filed as it should be.

Less to learn, less to type, and nothing hiding under the keyboard. • Removing a budget no longer changes any number. A savings pot emptied by covering overspends used to turn everything red the moment it was removed. Removed budgets now fold into their own section, each with Restore. • Member permissions now save and take effect. Changing someone to view only used to snap back to full access. • Budget cards say what the figure is out of: "€25 left of €400 this month". • Extra money in is edited from Where the money stands, instead of adding a second amount on top. • Every amount is typed on your phone's own keypad, in one box on every form. Save stays above the keyboard while you type, and cents are kept exactly. • Look around first: start without an account and sign in later; everything you set up comes with you. • The starting plan never ends at zero, and each slider moves on its own. Notifications are asked for at the end of setup. • Bills: a month strip of dots on top and a small "Paid" badge. The Inbox is one consistent list, and "Cover it" and "Mark saved" sit on the card's own row. • If a purchase does not go through, Kesto now says why and offers to try again. Deleting a budget with history works, and deleting your account no longer asks you to sign in again.

Two phones, one budget, and a lot less typing. • Import bank transactions. Choose the CSV, MT940 or PDF your bank exports, paste the lines from your banking app, or use a screenshot. A whole month comes back sorted: spends filed into your budgets, recurring charges found once each, and a budget proposed for spends that fit nowhere yet. You see the overview and tick what to import. No bank login, nothing to go stale. • Private budgets. A budget only you can see: your partner's phone hides it, its spends and its notifications, while the household's totals still count it. A gift stays a surprise. • Member permissions. Eight plain switches per member, from seeing amounts to managing members. The owner always has all of them; changing them comes with Kesto Plus. • A couple's first run ends by inviting your partner, with a link that works before Kesto is installed. The starting plan has four real budgets, never exceeds what comes in, and every line has a slider. • The budget form is name, amount and kind; everything optional folds away. Save stays above the keyboard. Personal money asks how much each. History remembers whether you like the list or the calendar.

The first run, rebuilt around what it would not let you do. • Choosing to set things up yourself is one tap, and it lands on your real home screen. It used to hand you a second setup wizard, and the screen behind that had no envelopes, no tabs and no way to log anything. • The home screen no longer shows an envelope you never made. A "Groceries" card used to sit there at zero, with no limit, invented by the app. If you have no budgets yet the screen says so, and offers to make one. • No bills means no bills row. It used to show a total of zero above a count of bills you did not have. • The app stops offering to log a spend when there is nowhere to put it. That offer used to open the keypad on the invented envelope. • A grocery estimate is a month's worth, and the question says so. The figure could be stored as a weekly limit instead, so a month's shopping money was measured as a week's and the home screen turned red on the first day. • The suggested amounts on the money questions are visible again. They were being pushed off the bottom of the screen, which made the fastest way to answer the one part you could not see. • The header no longer says you are short before payday when it has not been told what comes in. It was counting bills it had drafted for you against a salary you had never given it. • An envelope with no limit says so, and saying so is now the way to set one. • The walkthrough waits until there is something on the screen to walk you through. It could open over the setup questions, explaining a dial that was not there yet.

Fixes, mostly to things that were quietly wrong. • An envelope you have not given an amount to no longer says you are over budget. It has no limit yet, so nothing can be over it. The card says what has gone out of it instead of showing a red number. • Changing the date on a spend now moves it. The new date used to be saved somewhere the rest of the app never read, so the money stayed in the week you were taking it out of. • Deleting a budget keeps its spending attached to it. Those spends used to survive and belong nowhere, so your history and your envelopes disagreed about the same month. • Bills that fall on the same day stopped disappearing from Insights, the period report and the ledgers. If several of yours land on the 1st, some of them were being skipped. • A receipt that prints TOTAAL INCL. BTW, or Total incl. tax, now reads as the total. That line used to be thrown away and a single item offered in its place. • The switch for bill reminders stays where you put it. It was muting them correctly and then flipping itself back on. • Renaming a category no longer takes those spends out of the trip they belonged to. • A bill that runs out this month still posts its last charge, even if you do not open the app that week. • Undo after deleting a bill's spend puts the bill's link back, so the same money is not counted twice. • Editing a bill keeps the file attached to it, so a PDF stays a PDF. • Date pickers no longer close the app when the day they open on falls outside the days they allow. • Two salaries arriving on the same day are counted as two. • Lock Screen widgets: an envelope no longer changes colour when your partner logs a spend, and fixed costs stops appearing there as an envelope thousands over. • Restoring a backup no longer stops the invite code you already shared from working.

A new home screen, a shorter way around the app, and a camera that works with no signal. • Three tabs. Home, Bills and History — the menu that held the other seven is gone, and everything that was in it now sits where you would look for it. • The home screen leads with the money: what came in, less what has gone out and the bills still to come out of the account. It used to lead with what was left after the budgets as well, which on a plan that fits is close to zero by design. • The dial reads that money against the day. Green while you are level with the date or ahead of it, amber the moment you start spending faster than the days are passing, red when there is not a day's money left to reach payday. • Photograph a receipt with no signal and your phone reads the amount itself, in about a second, instead of waiting on a connection that is not there. • Sign in with Google on iPhone. • Kesto no longer assumes you live in the Netherlands: your country sets your currency, and what a starter plan costs where you are. • Savings pots fill up properly. A target you had met used to look exactly like one you had not touched. • A budget now remembers what it used to be worth, so lowering one stops re-rating the months you have already lived — which on a rollover envelope turned up as a debt you never ran up. • Receipts live with the spend they belong to, and the gallery is a view of your history rather than a place of its own. • A gentler first run with a way back out of it, and an end-of-month recap that only goes to people who were here for that month.
