Scribena is an on-device note-taking tool for professional counselors.
Record a session and get a transcript and a session summary — created
right on your device. All counseling data stays on this device only;
nothing is uploaded to the cloud.
■ How it works
· Record: sessions auto-save every few seconds, so your work is kept even if the app closes.
· Transcript: get a speaker-labeled transcript (counselor / client), generated on-device.
· AI summary: each session is organized into five sections — Goals, Presenting concern, Content, Plan, and Counselor self-review.
· Clients: manage clients and sessions in one place, with names masked on screen.
· Export & backup: export a record when you need it, or keep an on-device backup.
■ Private by design
· Recording, transcription, and summarization all run on-device — never sent to a server.
· Data is encrypted on the device.
· Only your login email and subscription status are kept on our server — no counseling content.
■ Who it's for
Counselors running individual, couples, or group sessions who want to keep session
notes securely on their own device.
Account sign-up and subscription are handled on the web; in the app you log in to check your subscription status.
