Scale, measuring, and German shot sizes • The grid has a scale. You decide how many metres one grid square stands for, and a scale bar appears at the bottom left if you want it. It is aligned to the grid — so you can count squares — and it now also travels into the PDF and the exported image, where it is most useful. • New ruler in the toolbar: tap two points, read the distance. It snaps to object centres and wall corners so the number is actually right. • Metres or feet and inches, set per project. • An imported floor plan can now be moved: switch on "Align background" in the stage panel, drag the image into place, switch the mode off again. • German shot sizes are now actually German in the German app. Two additional sizes were added to complete the ladder. • In the shot list the focal length now sits next to the shot size, and the estimated shooting time has a row of its own. • Fixed: with camera setups, the shooting times of the individual cameras were added up. Cameras in a setup shoot simultaneously, so the time belongs to the setup and is no longer counted more than once. • Fixed: exporting an image could produce black borders if you had zoomed out beforehand. • The "Movement" column is gone from the Excel, CSV and HTML exports. It only held technical abbreviations, and what the camera does is told by the camera symbols and movement paths in the plan. • The help has a new chapter "Scale & measuring" and now also covers the context menu, the zoom slider and the aspect ratio.

Aspect ratio, and one stubborn click • Every project now has an aspect ratio — 2.39:1, 1.85:1, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, or one you type in yourself. Storyboard images now appear everywhere in the frame you are actually shooting: in the shot list, in the plan PDF, on the storyboard page and in presentation mode. The framing can be shifted, and the original image is kept in full — nothing is cut away. • Fixed: dragging a slider and releasing outside the window closed that window unintentionally. This also affected selecting text in the project settings. • The settings gear is larger and easier to spot. Existing projects start at 16:9. If you shoot in a different format, set it once in the project settings.

Order in large projects • Folders can now be collapsed and expanded — in the project list as well as for the scenes inside a project. A collapsed folder shows how much it holds, and the view stays the way you left it. On a series with several seasons, you only see what you are working on right now. • On iPad, storyboard images and floor plans can now be taken straight with the camera or picked from your photo library — no longer only from the Files app. A sketch from set makes it into the right shot in seconds. • The App Store listing now correctly lists the app as available in German and English.
