• Add your kids. Kids who don't have a phone can now be on events — just a name and a colour, added from Settings. Plan their swimming, football or a day out together, with their colour in the calendar beside yours. • Never miss an event you're part of. When someone adds you to an event, you get a notification — and another if it moves, you're taken off it, or it's cancelled. Tap it to jump straight to that day. • Jump to a day from "Next 7 days": tap a day in the schedule on Today and the list scrolls straight to it. • A clearer Settings page: everyone in your sidecar in one list, and one place to invite an adult or add a child. • Under the hood: a major update to the app's foundations, for a faster and more reliable Sidecar.

• To-do items can now carry a note and a web link. Tap an item, then Details. The note shows on the item itself, so you see it without opening anything, and the link is one tap away. • Editing a to-do item now opens one place for its title, note and link. • The week strip on Today now starts with today and shows the next seven days, so you can always see what's coming. • Adding a shift is clearer: pick the day, tap one of your shifts, or type a name under New shift to make a new one — the colour choices appear as you type. Everything on one page, nothing to switch. • The New Event window no longer changes size when you switch between the Event and Shift tabs. • Long event titles slide sideways so you can read all of them. • Fixed: a long event title could be cut short even when there was room for it. • various small improvements

• NEW: see both your weeks at once. Today opens with a strip showing everyone's shifts side by side, with the days nobody is working lit up — so "are we both free on Saturday?" takes one look, not a hunt. • Mark a shift type as time off in Manage shifts — rest days, leave, holidays — and those days count as free in your week. Names like "Rest day", "RD" and "Public holiday" are recognised for you. • Adding a shift is one tap: pick it and it's on the day, no form to fill in. New types can be created right where you add them, and you can long-press any day in the month to set its shift straight from the grid. • New to shifts? Today now asks for your first one, with a few examples, and one tap takes you straight to adding it. • A long event title no longer trails off with "…" — it slides sideways so you can read the rest. Settings ▸ Display turns that off if you'd rather it stayed still. • The guided tour is gone. Every screen now explains itself where you are, the moment it's empty — no more dimmed walkthrough before you've done anything. "Show the tips again" in Settings ▸ Support brings the prompts back whenever you want them. • Every screen now says where you are, and your sidecar's members sit in the corner as a shortcut to Settings. • On your own in a sidecar? There's an empty seat beside your avatar — tap it to invite someone, any time. • Text is easier to read throughout: hints, timestamps, empty screens, the text inside every input box and the labels on every button. • Twelve clearly different member colours instead of twenty-eight near-identical ones, and colours your housemates already use are shown as taken. Colours you already picked are kept. • Today stands out in your sky theme rather than in blue — on the calendar, your day cards and birthdays — so blue consistently means "you can tap this". • The Month calendar is easier to read at a glance: event names are noticeably larger, the lines between days are gone, and a day with more going on than fits now tells you how many more. • Drag a day's card up in the Month view and the calendar collapses to that week instead of disappearing behind it. • Crisper icons in place of emoji throughout, and the two pin markers on a list now match the menu that sets them. Birthdays keep their cake. • Tap the arrow on any birthday to see its reminders, who it's shared with, and an Edit button — without leaving the list. • The "Lists" tab is now called "To-dos" — it never said what was in it, and it competed with Shopping, which is also a list. • Press and hold one of the suggested items above the "Add item" box to remove ones you no longer buy. • The weekly shift overview on Today can be switched off in Settings ▸ Display. • Fixed: changing the date of a shift used to leave a copy behind on the old day.

• All-day events now sit on the first line of the week again, instead of leaving a gap under an earlier one. • Your shift always shows first on a day, above any all-day event. • Today is easy to spot in the month view again — it sits in a filled circle, and the day you're viewing has a clear outline. • Busy days in the month view show three events before the "…", instead of two. • An event shared with three or more people now shows everyone's colour on its bar. • Add a new shift type straight from Manage shifts — no need to put it on a day first. • Changing the shift on a day no longer shows both the old and the new one for a moment. • Adding, renaming and removing a shift type now happen instantly instead of waiting on the network. • Fixed dates on the Today screen showing only part of the day or month if you use a larger font size

Tap Cancel when you do want to throw it away. • Swipe up on the + button to pull open a new event, list or birthday — the sheet follows your thumb — and swipe it back down to close. • Creating things is quicker: New Event, New List and New Birthday now fit on one screen, with a real AM/PM toggle and clear icons for Remind, Private, Photo and File. • Repeat is a simple button now — tap it to unfold daily/weekly/monthly options, or leave it off for a one-time event. • Choose exactly who sees a birthday — tap the people when adding it, or keep it private. • The Month view is frosted glass — your sky theme shows softly through the calendar and the day's agenda. • Long shopping items are no longer cut off — the name wraps onto a second line, in the list and in the cart. • Items now read "Sophie added today" in a quiet line instead of a big coloured name tag — more room for the item itself. • Fixed: swiping between tabs no longer flashes, and new shopping and list items start with a capital letter.

• Mainly small fixes and improvements. • Checking items off your shopping list is snappier and more consistent. • Start checking things off and the add bar tucks away for a clean, easy-to-scan list — tap it anytime to add more. • Your lists wear their color again — a soft tint on each list's header. • On tablets and unfolded phones, Shopping is now a true two-pane view: to-buy on the left, "In the cart" on the right. • Fixed: in weeks with an all-day event, your other events are no longer hidden. • Adding an event now flags a missing title instead of the Save button doing nothing.
