In Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Thai, the "right" words change with who you are, who you're speaking to, and the moment you're in. The same sentence can sound warm or cold, respectful or rude, natural or robotic. Nuance is the only translation app built to carry your feelings across — and the only one that judges the TPO (Time, Place and Occasion) of your message before you send it.

WHY NUANCE IS DIFFERENT
• It translates your feeling. Pick a mood on the Emotion Dial — friendly, respectful, apologetic, thankful, excited — and Nuance rewrites the translation so the emotion actually lands in the target language.
• It reads the room (TPO). Set who's speaking and who's listening — gender, age, your relationship — plus the situation (business, social, medical, romantic…) and delivery (speech, chat, email, a formal letter). Nuance weighs all of it to choose the register and honorifics a native speaker would.
• It checks your draft before you send. Insight mode reads your text, tells you how it comes across, fixes the grammar, and lets you dial the tone up or down — so you never send something that reads colder or more casual than you meant.
